Day 1 : Habarana,Sri Lanka
Negombo / Habarana 175 km (Approx. 04 hours)
On arrival meet at Colombo airport and proceed to Habarana by drive. Enroute visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage –is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village. Now take another stop at Dambulla Rock Cave Temple.
It is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka , known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla . It is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex . There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves which contain statues and painting which are related to Gautama Buddha and his life. There are a total of 153 Buddha statues three statues of Sri Lankan kings and four statues of gods and goddesses.

Day 2 : Habarana,Sri Lanka
Hiriwadunna / Habarana
Leave for Hiriwadunna by drive. Enjoy a trekking experience with Sri Lankan village life. Hiriwadunna Trek - Early morning with a packed breakfast proceed to Hiriwadunna for a 03 hour trek through this archetypal Sri Lankan village with experiencing a bullock cart ride and a catamaran boat ride. Here you will enjoy humble hospitality by farmers. You would be guided as how some fresh vegetables from the plot are picked, join in the preparation of a simple meal with traditional method using earthenware pots and firewood as fuel. This is great opportunity to sample authentic local cuisine. The journey continues through dense shrub forests which is home to many forest birds and other animals. Later enjoy an Elephant back safari.
Elephant Back Safari – While riding an elephant it is a fun but it also make possible to view wildlife while having elephant safari and get familiar with the nature and behavior of tamed Elephants. Proceed to hotel.

Day 3 : Habarana,Sri Lanka
Trincomalee / Habarana
Post breakfast leave for Trincomalee. Visit Pigeon Island National Park. Pigeon Island National Park - is one of the three marine national parks of Sri Lanka. The national park is situated 1 km off the coast of Nilaveli, a coastal town in Eastern Province of Sri Lanka. The national park contains some of the best remaining coral reefs of Sri Lanka. Afternoon visit Triru Koneswaram temple.
Thiru Koneswaram - is a wonderful temple located on a rock promontory in Trincomalee. It was built by Rishi Agastya on the instructions of Lord Shiva who was impressed by the devotion of King Ravana. This place is unique in this respect because the Lord built a temple for his devotee as a reward for his devotion. Lord Rama is believed to have offered his prayers here too, in order to get rid of the malediction of killing Ravana who was a Brahmin, meaning Brahmahasthi Dosham. The famous temple built here during the glorious era of the Tamil Pallava and Chola and Pandya empires which was destroyed by bigoted Portuguese Christians between 1622 and 1624.
Enroute visit Ravana Hot Water Wells.
Ravana Hot Water Wells - The hot wells of Kanniyai or Kanniya are close to the main road to Anuradhapura, in Trincomalee town. Pilgrims believe in the healing powers of the warm water. There are many different versions of the myth on how these curative hot water wells came into existence. Most of them are connected to Ravana. One legend about Kanniya's origin has it, that this is the place where King Ravana carried out the last rites for his mother. When he was unable to find water to duly perform the rites, he in anger pierced his Trishula into the ground seven times. Water started gushing out immediately. The very first hot water cooled down to the present degree when Ravana's anger calmed down. The temperature of the water is different in all the seven springs.

Day 4 : Kandy,Sri Lanka

Post breakfast proceed to Kandy by drive. Afternoon visit Temple of the Tooth Relic.
Temple of the Tooth Relic - is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage site mainly due to this temple.
Evening witness a cultural dance performance. Cultural Dance Show - it offers a very vibrant and unique show of Sri Lankan traditional dances in the form of Kandy cultural show. As many as 12 different folk and traditional dances are performed by Kandy lake club dance troop within the span of one hour.

Peradeniya / Kandy
Post breakfast visit Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya.
Royal Botanical Garden - The origins of the Botanic Gardens date as far back as 1371 when King Wickramabahu III ascended the throne and kept court at Peradeniya near Mahaweli river. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres. It includes more than 4000 species of plants, including of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Transfer back to hotel.

Day 6 : Nuwara Eliya,Sri Lanka

Post breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya by drive. Enroute visit Hanuman Kovil.
Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple - according to the ancient stories Ramboda is an area where the forces of Rama gather to fight against King Ravana. This temple was built by the Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka and dedicated to Hanuman. This temple houses for 16 feel height statue of Hanuman
Afternoon visit Seetha Amman Temple (Kovil).
Seetha Amman Temple - is located approximately 1 kilometer from Hakgala Botanical Garden and 5 kilometers from Nuwara Eliya. The temple is located in the village of Seetha Eliya. This place is believed to be the site where Sita was held captive demon king Ravana and where she prayed daily for Rama to come and rescue her. Later take a short walk in Victoria park or Gregory Lake.

Early morning leave for Horton Plains Tour with packed breakfast.
Horton Plains - is a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and is covered by montane grassland and cloud forest. This plateau is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region. This region was designated a national park in 1988. It is also a popular tourist destination and is situated 8 kilometres from Ohiya.

Post breakfast visit Ravana falls & the cave. The Ravana Cave is located about 2 km from the Ella town. It is quite a small cave. History says that the cave is used by King Rawana to hide the Princess Sita.
Afternoon enjoy a jeep safari at Udawalawa national park.

Early morning leave for whale watching excursion. Mirissa - beach and night life make it a popular tourist destination. It is also a fishing port which is the main whale and dolphin watching locations of this Island. Afternoon Galle city tour including visit to the Galle Fort.
Galle - Galle is the best example of a fortified city built by the Portuguese in South and Southeast Asia showing the interaction between Portuguese architectural styles and native traditions.The Galle fort is a world heritage site and is the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers.

Day 11 : Bentota,Sri Lanka

Post breakfast proceed to Bentota. Enjoy a river safari. Madu Ganga River Safari - Madu River or the Madu Ganga is one of the natures fascinating creations off South West coast in Balapitiya. A boat trip is a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants and animal. Now proceed to Turtle Hatchery. It is the little place where turtel eggs are gathered at Bentota Beach and then they are placed in their premise for the eggs to hatch. Once little turtles are hatched, safely they are released to the ocean.

Day 12 : Colombo,Sri Lanka

Post breakfast proceed to Colombo by drive. Afternoon take a Colombo city tour.
Colombo – it is the financial centre of the island and a popular tourist destination. Famous landmarks in Colombo include Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, Beira Lake, Colombo Racecourse, Planetarium, Mount Lavinia beach as well as the National Museum. Now drop back to airprot for further journey.
