13 Days - North India Tour

Post breakfast check out from hotel & take a short sightseeing tour of capital city of India, visit Qutab Minar  - it is a minaret made of red sandstone & marble. It is surrounded by several historical monuments of Qutb Complex .  It is tallest brick minaret in the world & also a UNESCO World Heritage site, now drive to Jaipur (5.5hrs. approx.), the capital city of Rajasthan state of India, known as Pink city as well.  On arrival check in at hotel.

Post breakfast enjoy city tour visit Amber Fort, ascend the fort on Elephant back & enjoy the ride.  This Fort is situated on hill top, about 11 kms away from Jaipur city.  Also visit Hawa Mahal the Palace of Winds, this structure was used by royal women to observe the activities in the street without being seen from the outside, next is Jantar Mantar (Royal Oberservatory), City Palace & its museum, Jal Mahal is a Palace set in middle of a  Lake.

Post breakfast check out from hotel & drive to Ranthambore one of the most popular national parks in India in Rajasthan state (3.5hrs. approx.). On arrival check in at hotel. Day at leisure.

Early morning be ready to spot the tiger , enjoy this early morning ride to National park, return back to hotel for breakfast. Check out from hotel & drive further to Bundi (3 hrs. approx.), on arrival check in at hotel.

Post breakfast you are scheduled to explore this city.  In ancient time there was various local tribes inhabited around Bundi.  Enjoy sightseeing including its picturesque fort, Palaces & step wells, some of them are Dhabai kund, Rani ji ki Baori (Step well) and then Bundi Palace. Evening walk in local market.. its around 1 km market but nice to visit it by walk.

Post breakfast check out from hotel & drive to another main city of Rajasthan (5hrs. approx.), it is called as city of Lakes and popular for its amazing royal residences. It was the capital of Mewar Kingdom & was founded by Maharana Udai Singh II. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening visit local bazaar.

Post breakfast you would enjoy day tour start with Sahelion ki Bari – this a garden which was designed by the king himself to present his queen. The garden was used to spend the time at leisure by queen & royal ladies.  Next to visit is City Palace, enjoy a heritage walk to this Palace, it is a huge complex which houses several Palace inside, it is the integration of Mughal & Rajasthani architecture, overlook Lake Pichola, there are other worthseeing monuments like Lake Palace , Jag Mandir, Jagdish temple , just near to this marvellous Palace complex. Enjoy boat ride at Pichhola lake (Optional) and evening folk dance show at “Bagore ki Haveli (19.00 – 20.00 hrs. each evening)- Optional.

Post breakfast check out from hotel & take morning flight to Delhi, capital city of India.  On arrival meet at airport & transfer to hotel, complete the check in formalities.  Afternoon take Delhi halfday city tour covering Humayuns Tomb - the tomb of Mughal Emperor Humayun, drive pass India Gate – the war memorial, it is 42 metre tall, designed by Edwin Lutyens, if you go there at night will enjoy the view of illuminated India Gate, Raj Ghat – memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, President House – official home of the President. Transfer to hotel.

Post breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to airport to board the flight to Mumbai earlier called Bombay .  It is one of the largest cities of Indi, known as the heart of the Bollywood film industry, the capital city of Indian state of Maharashtra.  Mumbai is the commercial, financial and intertainment capital of India.  On arrival meet & assist by Go High Travels representative & transfer to hotel for smooth check in.  Afternoon visit iconic Gateway of India built on the sea front, it is located at Colaba, downtown Mumbai which is the most popular hangout for tourists, Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Garden, Mani Bhawan – it is a two storied building  at South Mumbai, which was used for stay by Mahatama Gandhi on his visit to Mumbai, the room on 2^nd floor is kept as it is , it also has a doll museum there.  Visit Dhobi Ghat a huge laundry, drive pass High Court,Mumbai University & Victoria Terminus  a heritage building with excellent architecture.

Post breakfast checkout from hotel & transfer to airport to board the flight to Aurangabad.  This city of Maharashtra is a tourism hub surrounded by historical monuments including Ajant & Ellora caves which are UNESCO World Heritage sites. The city was founded in 1610 by Malik Amber.  The city got its name after Aurangzeb, the Mughal Emperor, it was ruled for a long period by Mughals, hence many historical monuments here belong to Mughal period.

On arrival meet & assist by our representative & transfer to hotel for check in.   Afternoon take city tour which includes Bibi Ka Maqbara & Daulatabad Fort.  Also visit Ellora caves (remains closed on Tuesday).

Post breakfast you will go for an excursion trip to explore Ajanta caves (2 .5hrs. approx.). Ajanta & Ellora caves both are considered the most important tourist destinations due to spectacular painting of Ajanta & finest sculpture of Ellora. Embellished with pleasing sculptures, frescoes & painting Ajanta & Ellora caves are fusion of Hindu, Jain & Buddhist monuments. Once you reach there, explore the history of India, clicks the pictures & collect a lot of details . After completing the sightseeing, drive back to Aurangabad city & roam around the places.  Transfer back to hotel.

Post breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to airport to board your flight back to Mumbai, on arrival take a connecting flight for onwards journey.
