Rajasthan the most popular state located on northwest part of India. It is the largest state of India by area, covering 10.4% of the total geographical area of India. It shares the border with five Indian state, Punjab at North, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh at northeast , Madhya Pradesh at southeast and Gujarat at southwest.   Thar Desert and Aravali range are two geographical features of Rajasthan which pervades from southwest to northwest of the state.  Generally northwest part of Rajasthan is dry and sandy. Most of this region is covered by Thar desert which extends into adjoining part of Pakistan.

Gujarat is the 5^th largest Indian state by area and 9^th largest state by population, located on west coast of India. It shares the boundary with Pakistan as International border whereas Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh are domestic borders with the state.

Northeast India is the easternmost part of India, which consists of eight states namely Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur and Sikkim.  Northeast is known for its tribal culture, natural beauty, simple people, climate and its landscapes.  It shares international border with Myanmar, Tibet, China, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.
