Post breakfast checking out of the hotel, start your Bangalore tour with a visit to Tipu Sultan's Palace. The palace’s design reflects Mughal influence, and its fort remnants provide a glimpse into the era of Haider Ali and Tipu Sultan. Now a museum, it showcases the historical architecture of the time. Next, explore the ISKCON Temple, where Dravidian and modern architectural styles merge, featuring both contemporary amenities and a Vedic library. Admire the VidhanaSoudha, an impressive post-independence building housing the State legislature and Secretariat, known for its grand dome and galleries.
Later, head to Lal Bagh Garden, renowned for its year-round blooming red roses, which inspired its name. In the afternoon, drive to Mysore, the former capital of the Wodeyar dynasty. The city is celebrated for its charming atmosphere, rich heritage, stunning palaces, well-designed gardens, grand buildings, wide streets, and sacred temples.

Post breakfast enjoy Mysore city tour, visit Srirangapatnam, the historic stronghold of Tipu Sultan, known for his resistance against British colonial rule. The island is dotted with monuments from his era. Next, explore Darya Daulat, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, set in picturesque surroundings on an island between two branches of the River Cauvery. Proceed to the Maharaja Palace, also known as Amba Vilas Palace, designed by British architect Henry Irwin and completed in 1912.
Then, head to Chamundi Hill, where you’ll find a 12th-century Durga Temple and a massive 5-meter-tall Nandi statue, carved from a single granite block in 1659—one of the largest in India.
In the evening, visit the Brindavan Gardens, renowned for its mesmerizing musical fountains on the terraces of the Krishnarajasagar Dam. The gardens represent a remarkable fusion of architecture, horticulture, engineering, and aesthetics.

Post breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Hassan by drive (3hrs. approx.). Hassan, a town founded in the 11th century by ChannaKrishnappaNaik, a Palegar. The name "Hassan" comes from the Goddess Hasanamba, the town’s patron deity known as the "smiling goddess." On arrival explore the city visit the Chennakeshawa Temple in Belur, constructed in 1117 AD to commemorate Hoysala military triumphs. It took over a century to complete, and its carvings vividly depict stories from the Puranas, Upanishads, Ramayana, and Mahabharata. We will also explore the Hoyasaleshwara Temple in Halebid, built in 1121 AD by Kettuvallam. This temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, features two shrines connected by pillared walls, housing the deities Hoyasaleshwara and Shanthaleshwara.

Post breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Hospet by drive (3hrs. approx..). Hospet, historically known as Nagalapura, was the capital of the Vijayanagar Empire and was devastated by the Sultan of South India in 1565. On arrival transfer to hotel. Post breakfast enjoy an excursion trip to Hampi, the former capital of the Vijayanagar Empire, founded by Harihara and Bukka in 1336. After the catastrophic Battle of Talikota in 1565, the city fell to Muslim rulers and eventually fell into ruin and neglect. Once a thriving metropolis, it is now a site of desolation.
First visit to Virupaksha Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Pampadevi. It is the only temple in Hampi still actively used for worship. The temple features a nine-story Gopuram and a Rangamandapa ceiling adorned with vibrant paintings depicting epic tales and Puranas.
Next, we visit the Vittala Temple, renowned for its impressive 56 musical pillars. Nearby, you’ll find the iconic Stone Chariot with revolving stone wheels. Many carved pillars have been damaged, and a significant part of the central structure is in ruins.
We also explore the Elephant Stables, an exemplary blend of Hindu and Muslim architectural styles, once housing up to 11 elephants in individual compartments. The Queen’s Bath, while plain on the outside, boasts an exquisitely ornate interior with graceful arches and projecting balconies. Finally, we visit the Lotus Mahal, a two-story pavilion with a lotus flower-shaped roof, known for its geometric arcades and once serving as a cool summer retreat for the queen.

Post breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Badami (4hrs. approx..), a town established by Pulakesi I, the Chalukyan ruler. Enroute visit Pattadakal and Aihole. Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, features 10 major temples showcasing early Chalukyan architecture. The largest of these, dedicated to Virupaksheshvara, is notable for its grand entrance and numerous inscriptions.
Aihole, known as the "Cradle of Indian Architecture," boasts over a hundred temples scattered throughout the village. Highlights include the Lad Khan Temple from the 5th century, the Durga (Fort) Temple with its semi-circular apse and complete portico, the Jain Meguthi Temple, and a two-story Buddhist Temple. Drive to hotel, on arrival complete the check in formalities.

Post breakfast get ready to explore Badami, which is home to several ancient temples from the Chalukyan period. The first set of temples consists of four rock-cut structures on a hill near the Bhutanatha Tank, dating back to the 5th century CE. One of these temples features a carving of Shiva Natarajan performing his cosmic dance with eighteen arms. Another temple displays images of Vishnu in his Varaha and Trivikrama incarnations. The third temple, also rock-cut, has inscriptions that date it to 578 CE, from the era of the KiritivarmaChalukyas, and includes carvings of Vishnu’s Narasimha and Trivikrama avatars.
Higher up, you’ll find a Jain rock-cut temple dedicated to the TirthankaraAdinath, with inscriptions from the 12th century. Additionally, the Mallikarjuna Temple, dating to the 11th century, features a distinctive star-shaped plan.

Post breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Hubli (2.5hrs. approx.). A historic town formerly known as Raya Hubli and ElayaPuravadaHalli in ancient times. During the Vijayanagar Empire, it transformed into a significant commercial hub for trading cotton and iron.
