Gujarat is the 5^th largest Indian state by area and 9^th largest state by population, located on west coast of India. It shares the boundary with Pakistan as International border whereas Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh are domestic borders with the state. 

Gujarat is the land of exotic wildlife, rich culture and history. It is home to many historical sites dating back to Harappan culture and Asiatic Lions.  The state also has many important temples, forts and palaces and mosques.  Its stunning topography is  quite impressive white salt plains of great Rann of kutch, lush green dense forest and many more.  Throughout the year Gujarat has variant climate conditions. During summer it is hot and dry, which is not advisable to travel between March to June month. However pleasant winter is most recommended period which is November to February.

The state is well known for its beautiful hand crafts such as block prints, silk saris, zari, embroidery, tie and dye work. Its silver work, jewellery making, cutting of precious stones, wood carving  are some  ancient arts in Gujarat. One can found temples and houses in the region with this fine carving skill.

Kerala formed on 1 November 1956 is a state  on southwest Malabar coast of India. It shares its boundaries with Karnataka to the north, Tamilnadu to the east and Lakshadweep sea to its west. Thiruvananthapuram is the capital city of the state. Malayalam is the official and widely spoken language of the state.

Kerala is a treasure in South India. It is advisable to check the best time to visit the state so you may get most out of the backwaters, beaches and festivals.  Kerala has a tropical climate. The annual average of Rainfall is higher as compare to the most of other states of India. November to February is the winter season in Kerala, it  is certainly the best time to plan a vacation. The summer months are extremely hot in India, but it is slightly different in Kerala due to its geography. April and May are summer months in Kerala.  By the end of May or beginning of June, monsoon hits Kerala. From June till September, the region gets 85% of its annual rainfall.

Uttarakhand is the northern state of India, popularly known as Devabhoomi which means “land of the Gods”.  The state lies on southern slope of the Himalaya Range. Himalayan high peaks and glaciers are covering the northern part of the state. It is one of the prime destinations for tourists.  The state has numerous of temples and pilgrim sites.  Two of the most sacred rivers which are originating for the glaciers of Uttarakhand, namely Ganga (Ganges) and Yamuna.  The state has two main divisions Garhwal and Kumaon. The native people are called sometimes as Garhwali and Kumaoni, as per their place of origin in either of the region.

Uttarakhand is a divine place full of beautiful valleys, meadows, mountains, sceneries and many more. There are numerous popular tourist destinations. Some of them are quite explored and many of them are still untouched by travellers. Summer is the most suitable time to explore the state. March to June is the best time to visit this region. You can travel to Chopta valley, Auli, Nag Tibba, Kausani, Mukteshwar, Valley of Flowers , Kedar valley. These are some of the names of the popular destinations of Uttarakhand, however the list is quite long for worthing places in Uttarakhand.  In addition to this, the state gives many options for adventure travellers. They can enjoy river rafting, mountain biking, trekking, rock climbing etc.

The dream destination Ladakh, situated 3000m above the sea level, in the lap of mighty Himalayas. It is a wonderful place for leisure experiences and adventure tours.  Ladakh is second least populous union territory of India.  Leh is the largest town in Ladakh followed by Kargil.  Leh is the gateway to Ladakh, and only airport  which operates direct flights from Leh to Delhi, Srinagar and other cities of India.  There are two options to reach Ladakh by road, one is via Srinagar and second is Manali.  From June till October road travel is generally open to Ladakh.

Ladakh is undoubtedly,adorned by alluring charm of mighty Himalayas, snow clad mountains, Palaces, lakes and monasteries, but it also receives the extremes of Climate conditions.  In winters due to heavy snowfall most of the roads and routes to Ladakh get blocked and it makes it extremely challenging to reach the valley. January and February these two months receives heavy snowfall,almost every corner get covered with thick layers of snow which results blockage of the roads in Ladakh.  This time Zanskar River get frozen that serves the only way to access Ladakh.  This is the perfect time to book  “Chadar trek” over the frozen river.

In the month of March,temperature starts rising that cause snow melting.  April month is the summer month. In the mid or end of the month, tourism of Ladakh starts. May till July is the best period to explore the valley. Manali – Leh highway also get open this time which entice a large number of tourists to explore and admire the valley.  August is the monsoon period, the valley receives heavy showers. After monsoon, it comes live once again and can be visited till September end or mid October, it depends on weather conditions. Onwards till December temperature falls, in between this period region starts receiving snowfalls.

It is not only the natural beauty which is the reason  to explore this valley, but Ladakh culture is also amazing. It has many beautiful Buddhist monasteries like Lamayuru, Hemis etc. People here celebrate the festivals like Phyang, Hemis festival and Ladakhi festivals. Karnataka located at southwest part of India, was officially formed on 1^st November1956. It is one of the most beautiful states of India dotted with pleasing cities, rich culture and less crowded beaches. There are some quite famous destinations of the state which entice a huge number of travellers. The state has been recognized the fourth most popular destinations of India in tourism sector. It is an array of scenic hill stations, ancient sculptures temples, modern cities, wildlife and beautiful beaches. It is the seventh largest state of India and the largest in South India region.  The state shares the border with Goa, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Arabian Sea.

Himachal Pradesh a predominantly mountainous region is a state in northern India.  It is located at western Himalayas. It shares its boundary with other states of India, name as Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh at the north, Punjab at the west, Haryana at the southwest, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh at the south. Tourism and agriculture are importantly contributing at state’s economy. The state covers an area of 55673 sq km. Most of the state lies on foothills of Dhauladhar range. Himachal generally experiences three seasons, summer which is counted from April till June, winter November till mid March and rainy season from July to September, whereas snowfall is common in alpine region.

Tourism has a vital role to play in the state growth and economy.  The state houses many popular destinations like Shimla, Manali, Dalhousie, Dharamshala, Kullu, Khajjiar etc. It is also quite famous for adventure tourism activities such as skiing, ice skating, paragliding, trekking, horse riding and fishing. Besides it Buddhist monasteries and mountain biking are some of the local possibilities to enjoy during your holiday vacation.

The majority of Hindu communities residing in Himachal, widely speak pahari language in the state.  People of the state are well skilled in handicraft as well, shawls, carpet, leather work, woodwork, knitted woollen items are some of the notable ones.

Tamil Nadu the most urbanised state of India, lie on the southernmost part of Indian sub-continental, sharing its border with other South Indian states as Karnataka to the northwest, Andhra Pradesh to the north and Kerala to its west. It also bordered with The Bay of Bengal in the east while Indian ocean on the south. It houses many temples, historical buildings, hill stations, pilgrimage sites and also three world heritage sites.

Tamil Nadu is well known for its immense tradition of literature, dance, music and art.  It’s Bharat Natyam the classical form of dance, architecture and Tanjore paintings are practiced in Tamil Nadu continuously. Tamil is official language of the state, however English declared as additional official language.

An enchanting state that will surely mesmerise you  with its exotic places , magnificent rock cut architecture, beautiful beaches, festivals and flavoursome cuisine idli, Dosa with sambar is one of the most popular among others.  There are many tourist attractions, start with Capital city Chennai, Trichy a commercial town, Madurai, Kanchipuram, temple city Rameshwaram, Ooty the famous hill station, these are some of the places that will leave you spell bound.

Sikkim nestled in the foothills of eastern Himalayas is the second smallest state of northeast India. It borders with Tibet on the north and northeast, Nepal in the west, Bhutan in the east and West Bengal in the south. The state is gifted by nature with unparalleled beauty. Among the mountains, Kanchenjunga is the fabulous, which is the 3^rd highest mountain in the world.  It is the second largest producer of the spice in the world. It also contribute in largest share of cardamom production in India.

The state enjoys five seasons such as summer, winter, monsoon, autumn and spring. The average annual temperature is around 18 degree Celsius for most of Sikkim. It is one of the few states of India, who receive a regular snowfall. In the monsoon, due to heavy rains, risk of landsliding increases. In winter and monsoon period, fog affects transportation in many parts of the state.

The state lacks railway infrastructure, at present there are two major railway stations, name as Silliguri and New Jalpaiguri, however the only airport Bagdogra is well operational.  The capital Gangtok  is most significantly urban area in the state.  

Northeast India is the easternmost part of India, which consists of eight states namely Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur and Sikkim.  Northeast is known for its tribal culture, natural beauty, simple people, climate and its landscapes.  It shares international border with Myanmar, Tibet, China, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.

The best time to visit Northeast India is from October till mid May, however these are dry months, but you may enjoy occasional shower in the region. The entire Northeast is a different landscape. It is basically a hottest destination for offbeat vacations. Unfamiliar lifestyle and uniqueness of this region makes the place even more interesting.  Their language, food and most importantly their culture, all is completely different.  This part of the country is very diverse in itself. There is always something wonderful to explore in each and every season. Monsoon months starting from May till September are just perfect for those who love to walk alongside clouds and watch out beautiful waterfalls.

Northeast is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday in India. Every state in Northeast is amazing in its own way.
