Kanchipuram is a traditional centre of silk weaving and handloom industries for producing Kanchipuram Sarees.

Post breakfast check out from hotel & proceed to Trichy by road (4hrs. approx.), enroute visit Tanjore. Thanjavur - is a city in South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Thanjavur is an important center of South Indian religion, art, and architecture. It is an important pilgrim centre and a major tourist destination of Tamil Nadu. Its many temples include the 11th-century Brihadeeswarar Temple, a vast Chola dynasty–era complex with a frescoed interior . Brihadeshwar temple and fort, Thanjavur Palace and Museum are the worthseeing over there.

Here you can view the religious ceremony of people performing last death rites of the persons dead on the bank of River Cauvery . Then climb the 437 steps to the 83m high Rock Fort and Ranganatha Temple , also visit Jambukeshwara temple. Now drive to Rameshwaram (4hrs. approx.), on arrival check in at hotel.
