Tour Overview

Day 1 - Arrive Guwahati

On arrival meet and assist at Guwahati airport and transfer to hotel. Guwahait is home of many beautiful temples Kamakhya Temple is the most among all. Visit the temple and seek blessing of Maa Kamakhya. In the evening free for shopping or enjoy river cruise on Brahmaputra River.

Day 2 - Guwahati - Cherrapunjee - Shillong by drive

Post breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Shillong (3hrs. approx..), enroute visit Cherrapunjee - the wettest place on earth. After reaching there explore the caves, waterfalls and many other renowned places. One of them Mawsmai cave, The Lawshynna cave and Mawmluh cave – the longest in the Indian-subcontinent. During the visit your will come across the majestic beauty of Nohkalikai falls, it is highest waterfall in the country. Other ones you can check out like Noh Sngithiang falls, Elephant falls and Kynrem falls.

Evening reach at hotel, complete the check in formalities and enjoy your stay.

Day 3 - Shillong- Dawki - Mawlynnong - Shillong by drive

Post breakfast get ready for an excursion trip to Dawki and Mawlynnong. Dawki is a small border town located in Jaintia Hills which is well known for its breath-taking Umngot river, a must visit place during your trip to Meghalaya. It is also known as Dawkin River, you can enjoy boat ride here. It is one of the cleanest rivers, while boating you would feel like floating on the air as water is so clear. Enjoy scenic beauty and explore more nearby also. Now proceed to visit Mawlynnong about 34kms from Dawki, it is a village which was awarded as the cleanest village of Asia in 2003. Also visit a bridge made of roots of tree. Explore the more of village and stop at the beautiful waterfalls there. Now proceed back to hotel.

Day 4 - Shillong - Guwahati by drive

Post breakfast check out from hotel and enjoy some worth seeing place of Shillong, covering Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park and Elephant falls. Also visit Don Bosco Centre- one of the most popular museums of Shillong. Next is Shillong Peak – trek to the peak to view the entire city, Himalayas and some part of Bangladesh. Enjoy bird’s eye view with a telescope which is provided there for all tourists. Now proceed for 2hours journey to Guwahati airport and board the late evening flight for onwards journey.
