On arrival meet and assist at Colombo airport and proceed further to Galle by drive. On arrival transfer to hotel , complete the check in formalities. Day at leisure for own activities in hotel.

Post breakfast, proceed to Rumassala. According to the Ramayana, Rumassala is believed to be a piece of the Himalayan Mountains brought by Hanuman to find medicine for Lakshman during his battle with Ravana. The hill offers a stunning view of the southern coast of Galle.
Next, you'll visit Ussangoda, known for its unique soil structure and flora. Legend has it that Ussangoda was the site of King Ravana’s airport, where his peacock-shaped aircraft landed.
In the evening, you'll visit the Kataragama Hindu Temple, dedicated to God Kataragama, also known as Murugan or Kartikeya or God Skandha. This multi-religious complex includes an Islamic mosque and a Buddhist temple. According to the Ramayana, God Skandha was ordered by Lord Indra to join the final battle to protect Lord Rama from King Ravana's wrath.

Post breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya, en route visit the Ravana Waterfall and Cave. Ravana Waterfall, steeped in Ramayana legend, is a stunning cascade located near the Ella-Yala road. Standing at 25 meters high, the waterfall is especially magnificent during the rainy season. Legend has it that King Ravana hid Princess Sita in a cave behind this waterfall after kidnapping her. The Ravana Cave, measuring approximately 50 feet wide, 150 feet long, and 60 feet high, is also believed to be one of the places where Ravana concealed Princess Sita. Recently, a 20,000-year-old skull was discovered in the cave, adding to its historical intrigue. Following this, you'll visit the Seetha Amman Temple in Nuwara Eliya. This unique temple is said to be where Sita spent most of her captivity, according to the Ramayana. It's one of the rare temples dedicated to Sita and features footprints believed to belong to the monkey god Hanuman.

Post breakfast, visit Gayathri Peedam, the first and most significant temple dedicated to Gayathri Amman in Sri Lanka. According to legend, it is where King Ravana's son, Meghanath, worshipped Lord Shiva and performed penance to gain supernatural powers.
Next, you'll visit the Diurumpola Temple, believed to be the site where Sita underwent her "Agni Pariksha" to prove her chastity. The name "Divurumpola" means 'the place of oath,' and even today, the legal system accepts oaths taken at this temple to resolve disputes.
You will then proceed to Seetha Eliya to visit Ashok Vatika, a garden where Sita was kept during her captivity, as she refused to stay in Ravana's palace. Here, you can see a rock where Sita is said to have sat and meditated. In the evening, enjoy a short city tour of Nuwara Eliya.

Post breakfast, proceed to Mani Kattuther, a small, flat rock boulder located within the tea plantations of Labookellie estate. It is believed that Lord Hanuman rested here on his way back to Lord Rama to deliver the joyous news of finding Sita. Today, the site features an open temple with statues of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman.
Next, you'll head to the Bhakta Hanuman Temple, which houses a five-meter tall granite statue of Hanuman, Rama's devoted supporter. It is believed that Hanuman began his search for Sita in the Baroda hills. Now drive to Kandy. In the evening, enjoy a short city tour of Kandy, including a visit to the Kandy Temple.

Post breakfast drive to Sigiriya, transfer to hotel for check in. Later in the afternoon, you will explore the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Historians suggest that Sigiriya has a connection to the Ramayana. It is believed that the summit of the plateau was once the location of Ravana's grand palace, constructed from solid gold and designed by Kubera, the deity associated with wealth, approximately 5,000 years ago.

Post breakfast, head to Dunivila. It is believed to be the spot from which Lord Rama launched the deadly Brahmasthram weapon at King Ravana. Next, you will visit Laggala. Laggala served as a strategic watchtower for King Ravana's army and stands as the highest point in the northern sector of Ravana's city. It is said that the top of Laggala became flat after being struck by the Brahmasthram weapon fired by Lord Rama from Dunivila.
Now proceed to Ritigala. This mysterious mountain is believed to contain rare medicinal herbs and plants from the Himalayas. According to legend, Ritigala is part of Mount Dronagiri. When Lakshman was gravely injured by Indrajit during the battle in Lanka, Hanuman was sent to retrieve the life-saving Sanjivani herb from the Himalayas. Unable to find it in time, Hanuman carried the entire Dronagiri mountain to Lanka, but parts of it, including Ritigala, fell along the way.

Post breakfast, drive to Trincomalee. On arrival, visit the Koneswaram Temple, situated on a rocky promontory. It was built by Rishi Agastya following Lord Shiva's instructions, moved by the devotion of King Ravana. This temple is part of the Pancha Ishwarams, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Uniquely, the Lord built this temple to reward his devotee. It is also believed that Lord Rama prayed here to absolve himself from the sin of killing Ravana.
Next, you will visit the Shankari Temple, one of the 18 Devi Temples (Ashta Dasha Shakti Peethas). The current Shankari Devi Temple is a reconstruction, as the original, said to be built by Ravana, was destroyed by Portuguese cannonballs, leaving only a commemorative pillar at its site. The original idol of the Goddess is preserved and placed in the new temple nearby.

Post breakfast, visit Manavari Temple, it is the first place where Lord Rama installed a Lingam to appease Lord Shiva after committing the sin of Brahmincide by killing King Ravana, who was a Brahmin. This Shiva Lingam is called Ramalingam. Following this, you will proceed to Munishwaram Temple, a significant regional Hindu temple complex in Sri Lanka, existing since at least 1000 CE. Myths link the temple to the Ramayana. It is one of the ancient Pancha Ishwarams dedicated to Shiva. Munishwaram means the first temple for Shiva. It is believed that the Shiva Lingam was already present here when Lord Rama visited.
