Begin your spiritual journey in Mumbai, traveling to Aurangabad to explore the Ajanta and Ellora Caves. Continue to Bhopal for a visit to the Sanchi Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, head to Agra to witness the Taj Mahal's grandeur. In Delhi, explore historic and cultural landmarks before traveling to Bodh Gaya, the site of Buddha's enlightenment. Continue to Varanasi, where you can experience the spiritual ambiance of the Ganges. Visit Sravasti, an ancient Buddhist pilgrimage site, and then Kushinagar, where Buddha attained Parinirvana. Conclude your tour back in Delhi, reflecting on the rich tapestry of Buddhist heritage experienced along the way. Day 1 - Mumbai - Aurangabad by flight

On arrival at Mumbai airport meet with our representative, who will introduce you with your driver and brief you about your tour in India. Proceed for a short trip of Mumbai, visit Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Jain Temple, Hanging Gardens. Transfer to Airport to board the flight to Aurangabad. On arrival meet at airport & proceed to hotel for check in. Evening free for own activities at hotel.

Day 2 - Aurangabad tour

Post breakfast leave for sightseeing tour of Ellora (closed on Tuesday), a UNESCO World heritage site, one of the largest rock-cut monastery-temple cave complexes in the world. It consists of 34 monasteries and temples dedicated to Brahmanism, Jainism, and Buddhism which are uninterrupted sequence of monuments that date back from 600 to 1000 AD. Return back to hotel.

Day 3 - Aurangabad - Bhopal by train

Post breakfast take an excursion trip to Ajanta (Close on Monday). These caves include paintings and rock-cut sculptures which date from the 2nd century BCEto about 480 CE. The caves here housed some paintings which depicts the past lives and rebirth of the Buddha.

Now return back to city & transfer to railway station to board the train to Bhopal.

Day 4 - Bhoplal - Sanchi - Bhopal by drive Bhopal - Agra by train

On arrival meet at railway station & proceed to hotel for wash and change and breakfast. Now leave for local sightseeing visit Sanchi Stupa a Buddhist complex, known for its great Stupas. It is one of the oldest stone structures and an important monument in India. The Sanchi Stupa was made of bricks during Mauryan period which completed by 11th century. Proceed to city & transfer to railway station to board the train to Agra. On arrival meet at Agra station & transfer to hotel.

Day 5 - Agra tour

Post breakfast visit the world famous Taj Mahal (remains closed on Friday) - the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the one of the seven wonders of the world. Next to visit is Agra Fort Akbar's tomb and Itmad Ud Daulah Tomb- also called as Baby Taj. Transfer back to hotel.

Day 6 - Agra - Delhi by drive AND Delhi - Patna by flight

Post breakfast move to Delhi. Enjoy city tour visit Lotus Temple, India Gate, President House. Transfer to airport to board the flight to Patna. On arrival meet at airport & proceed to hotel, on arrival complete the check in formalities.

Day 7 - Patna - Rajgir - Nalanda - Bodhgaya by drive

Post breakfast leave for Bodhgaya enroute visit Nalanda & Rajgir. Rajgir -The picturesque Rajgir, or Rajagriha as it was known in the past (literally, the abode of kings) is surrounded by the meandering river Banganga and 5 hills. During the lifetime of the Buddha this was the capital of the powerful Magadhan kingdom, ruled by the virtuous King Bimbisara. The hills and caves surrounding Rajagriha were home to spiritual teachers, ranging from the materialism of the early Charavaka School to the metaphysics of Upanishadic philosophers. Like many others in search of truth, Prince Siddhartha, after he renounced his royal heritage came to this city to seek the path of vation. Nalanda -Nalanda was the most renowned university in ancient India. It derived its name from Na-alam-da, meaning Insatiable in Giving, one of the names by which the Lord Buddha was known. Arrive Bodhgaya and check in at hotel.

Day 8 - Bodhgaya - Varanasi by drive

Bodhgaya the place of the Buddha's Enlightenment, Bodhgaya is the spiritual home of Buddhist. Bodhgaya situated near the river Niranjana, is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage centres since it was here that Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Later visit Mahabodhi Temple, Niranjana River and Sujata Village. Proceed to Varanasi by drive (5.5hrs. approx.), on arrival check in at Hotel.

Day 9 - Varanasi - Kushinagar by drive

Early morning enjoy a boat ride at River Ganges . As the dawn mists rise on the Holy River Ganges, glide silently on a boat to see the devout come to bathe and pray. Transfer back to hotel for breakfast. Now proceed to Sarnath where the Lord Buddha preached his first discourse and see the Stupas, ancient, Modern Temples and Ashoka Pillar. Afternoon proceed to Kushinagar, on arrival check in at hotel.

Day 10 - Kushinagar - Lumbini - Sravasti by drive

Kushinagar, it is the place which is must visited at least once in lifetime by Buddhism followers. It is believed that Gautama Budha attained Parinirvana after his death. it is International Buddhist Pilgrimage centre. Post breakfast enjoy sightseeing tour visit Ramabha stupa, Natha Kumarka Kot, now proceed to Sravasti, enroute visit Lumbini the birthplace of Buddha. An ancient shrine with an image representing the nativity of Buddha is still preserved. Drive continue & reach Sravasti by evening.

Day 11 - Sravasti - Lucknow by drive AND Lucknow - Delhi by flight

Post breakfast explore the city, visit the collection of ruins called Sahet-Mahet, also visit jetavana monastery where remains of Lord Buddha’s hut can be seen, other attractions are Jain temple & stupas. Now drive to Lucknow , on arrival transfer to airport to board the flight to Delhi, from Delhi airport take your international flight for onwards journey.
